Christmas is fast approaching,33 days before christmas, i saw lantern and colored lights everywhere,and the cuty things is that,kids are caroling and my coins almost rans out..oh well  i need more i guess till christmas day.shopping malls are all decorated with beautiful christmas decors,but what i love the most on the yulletide season is,lots of gifts,and food as well,but ofcourse is not only material things,for me christmas is time of forgiveness,a time to spend with the family,and a time to renew our faith,coz christ our saviour was born for us to save from our sin.as a catholic i strongly believed and have faith for jesus christ his only son is the only way of our salvation.

Origin why we celebrate christmas

For members of the Christian faith, Christmas is the traditional day to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ. The actual date of Jesus' birth is not known, but December 25 became the date to commemorate the occasion. The date was chosen by the Romans to coincide with the winter solstice and other winter festivals as a way to convert the Romans to Christianity without forcing them to give up their pagan feasts.

The word Christmas comes from the old English "Christ's mass." It is often called Xmas because the first letter for Christ in the Greek New Testament is X. During the Middle Ages, the celebration of Jesus' birth became a time of feasting and gift giving. The celebration of this holiday was popular at some times in history, and at other times it was forgotten.

In the western world, the celebration of Christmas as we know it can be traced to the influence of two writers. In the United States, Clement Clarke Moore published the poem A Visit from St. Nicholas (otherwise known as 'Twas the Night Before Christmas) in 1823, and helped popularize the celebration of Christmas and the legend of Santa Claus. Charles Dickens wrote A Christmas Carol in 1843, and it helped to revive the celebration of Christmas in England. The book also focused the celebration into one of charity and family.

Christian meaning

To Christians, Christmas and Easter are the two most important days of the year. One commemorates the birth of Christ; the other remembers His death and resurrection. In order to honor the meaning of Christmas, many Christians decorate with Nativity scenes. Jesus was born to the Virgin Mary and her betrothed, Joseph, in the town of Bethlehem in Israel. Angels appeared to shepherds in the nearby hills to announce his birth, and the shepherds rushed to find the baby who was lying in the manger. Magi, or Wise Men, from the East also visited the Christ-child, bringing Him gifts to acknowledge His deity.

Many churches have a Christmas Eve service, including carols and candlelight. The traditional Christmas carols, like Silent Night, Hark! The Herald Angels Sing and Away in a Manger all tell the story of Jesus' birth, and the songs are played and sung every year at Christmas time. Some Christian traditions honor the month leading up to Christmas, called Advent, by lighting candles on a wreath and reading Scripture passages.

My Father in heaven, thank you for your mercies and love. Even at this time of pain, disillusionment and disappointment,I know you are with me. I look to you for relieve Lord. Comfort me Lord.

Help me to be reminded that it is only natural that life is not a bed of roses. We cannot avoid sicknesses and sufferings that come along. Please help me accept such facts of life.

But thanks be to God, for the reality is that you are with me. I stand on your word that you abide in me as I remain in you. Without you, I will not be able to bear the turmoil. By myself I will stay downcast and burdened by the aches and pains. Help lift me Lord. Most of all help me to remain in you.

Thank you that in my pain I have not forgotten your love and mercy. I praise your holy name. Strengthen me dear Lord, my body, soul and spirit. This is my prayer in Jesus’ name. Amen.

God is at work in our life,even we dont recognize it or understand it.
when we pray we often expecting answer right away,but heres some reason why our prayers is un aswered and why god uses problem,the problem we face either defeat us or devlop us.depending on how us respond to them.unfortunately,most of us fail to see how god wants use problem for our own good.we react foolishly and resent our problem rather pausing to consider what benefit it might bring.here are five ways gods wants to use the problem in our life.



1.God Uses Problems to Direct Us.

People are like tea bags.if you want to know what inside them.just drop them into hot ever water!has god tested our faith with a problem what do problmes reveal about you?"when you have amny kinds of troubles,you should be full of joy ,because you know that these troubles test your faith and this will give you a patience" james1:2-3

3.God Uses Problems to Correct Us.

Some lesson we learn only through pain and failure,its likely that as a child parents told you not to touch a hot stove.but you probably learned by being burned.sometimes we only learn the value of something..health,money, a relationship.by losing it."It was the best thing that could happened to me,for it taught me to pay attention to your laws" Psalm 119:71-72


4.God Uses Problem To Protect Us

A problem can be a blessing in disguise if it prevents you from being harmed by something more serious."you intended to harm me ,but god intended it for good genisis 50:20

Problems ,when responded to correctly,are character builders.god is far more interested in our character than our comfort.our realtionship to god and our character are the only two things were going to take eternity."we can rejoice when we run into problems,they help us learn to be patient.and patience develops strenght of character in us and help us trust god more each time we use it until finally our hope and faith are strong and steady" romans 5:3-4

 My only way of worship is listening to a worship song every sunday and a  thank you prayer for the blessing and trial as well for the week.God works in my life in most of the way,im just being human sometimes that im pushing what i want and not he wanted for me, thats why im always end up in failure and pain.at this point of my life i want to live my life according to his will.His gifts which is called life is precious we once live here on earth,what we do here is just a preparation for an eternal life..gods promises never fail.

This is a great message from god that if we believe in him all things is possible.how great is the lord he gave us all we need and needing .all we have to do is ask through prayer and work for it to achieve,everything he will added unto us.i do believe that material position in life is not all we wanted,wealth cant buy happiness maybe for the time being your happy of your new car but after the excitement and everything, u will see with in yourself .that your not totally happy.that is called" UNSATISFACTION"But if you have faith even just a lil blessing that added to you,u will be happy for it deeply inside because you are satisfied with what you have and a lil blessing that you will recieve is just a BUNOS.

This is only my point of view and beliefts in a  way of  faith. and i hope nobody will criticize my post,i just really wanted to share to everyone what i feel and what i believe,ive been lost for my whole life.im being busy with the earthly acts.i was sorrounded by temptation and vices and i am weak ,its drowning me into a conflict situation.but still when i was on my wrong way he never leave me,he still  guiding me in his own way.back way 2008 i wanted things to happened,but he never let me,instead he sent me here ,where a freedom is not free..living behind the invisible bars..everything is under control.This is why im here the gods plan revealed that i have to define my life ,he gave me lots of time to think a hundred times ,what i really  want in my life..with you and only you my lord my life will be great..
